Course Curriculum
PHASE 01
Pre-Solo Training
Mastering the fundamentals of flight: aircraft systems, ground operations, basic maneuvers, and emergency procedures to prepare for your first solo flight.
PHASE 02
Cross-Country Navigation
Venturing beyond the local airport. Learn navigation theory, flight planning, weather analysis, and radio communications for long-distance flights.
PHASE 03
Checkride Preperation
Final refinement of flying skills and knowledge. Extensive review of FAA standards to ensure you are fully prepared to earn your Private Pilot Certificate.
Requirements
- Be at least 17 years old to earn the certificate (16 to solo)
- Hold a current FAA Medical Certificate (3rd Class or higher)
- Read, speak, write, and understand the English language
- Accumulate a minimum of 40 flight hours (national average is 60-80)
- Pass a computer-based FAA Knowledge Test (Written Exam)
- Successfully complete an oral and flight practical exam (Checkride)
